Some Moore Family & Friends
of Deep Springs & Shady Grove

This album was located in the Deep Springs / Shady Grove Community of Jefferson County in 1999. Several of the photos are missing, but (frustratingly) the names of some missing photos remain on the pages!

Following is a table of the photos, names, and identifying information remaining in the album.

One man, John Harrison, is identifiable.  He built a mill in Shady Grove. His family history is fairly well documented.  Likewise, the Moore family whose home is pictured is known, but many of the descendants living today have lost touch.  If you can identify any of these photos or can provide additional information about any of these people, please contact the Webmistress.

Some Moore family information is included in the Letters and Essays of J. N. Moore.
