bullet Chamber of Commerce Calendar of Events
bullet Second Annual June Jubilee
  • Description:  Last year there were 5,000 people, 90 vendors, and a classic car show at this event.  Several community organizations will be represented.
  • Date:  Saturday, June 5, 2004
  • Time:  9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Location:  Downtown Dandridge
  • Special Events:  Local food, crafters, antiques, and entertainment.  Be sure to stay for the crowning of the "Queen" from 6-7 p.m. and the street dance from 7-10 p.m with a DJ.  Entertainment for the day will include performances by local cheer and dance teams, gymnasts, clogging groups, church choirs, and musicians in the genre of bluegrass, gospel, and more.

bullet Direct Descendants of Davy Crockett Reunion
  • Description:  The Direct Descendents of David Crockett & Kin (DDDC) will be in Morristown - July 8, 9, & 10 2004.  They are being hosted by the Hamblen County Chapter APTA - Crockett Tavern Museum site.  Events are planned for each day.  Joe Swann will present info on Crockett, Finley & Hawkins lines.

  • Special Events:  Numerous events, including a presentation by Joe Swann on the Crockett, Finley, and Hawkins family lines

bullet Nineteenth Annual Old-Time Saturday
  • Description:  The event takes place all along Main Street as a celebration of Jefferson City's history.  Over 20,000 visitors attend annually.
  • Date:  Saturday, October 2, 2004
  • Time:  10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Location:  Main Street, Jefferson City
  • Special Events:  Local food, crafters, antiques, and entertainment.  Entertainment for the day will include performances by local cheer and dance teams, gymnasts, clogging groups, church choirs, and musicians in the genre of bluegrass, gospel, and more.
