January 12th 1822 - The Church met & proceeded to do business - 1st. - the Church complains of Br. Joseph Bell for absenting himself from us & the matter laid over till next meeting for further information - 2nd. - Appoints Brs. John Cate and Chas. Kelly Sr. To visit Sister Sally Sellars & cite her to attend our next meeting. February 9th 1822 - The Church met & after Service proceeded to Business - 1st. - took up the matter concerning Br. Jos. Bell and it appears that there is no further consideration. (p.82) Took up the matter concerning Sr. S. Sellars & the members appointed went to see her & from their Report the Church feels willing to bear with her. March 9th 1822 - The Church met and Black Kiaha and his wife Sary requested Letters & granted. April 12th 1822 - The Church met on fryday as it was the Communion Season and proceded to business - 1st. - Sister Nancy Richards requested a letter of dismission & granted. May 11th 1822 - The Church met and after divine Service proceeded to business - 1st. - Appoints Brs. Charles Kelly Sr. & Isaac Newman Sr. to attend the Union Meeting to be held at Frenchbroad. June 15th 1822 - The Church met on the 3rd. Saturday on the account of the Union meeting coming on our meeting in Course. July 13, 1822 - The Church met & after divine Service proceeded to business - 1st. - Appoints Brs. Sullins & John Elder to talk with Br. Isaac Newman Jr. & cite him to attend Church meeting - 2nd. - Appoints Br. Charles Kelly Sr. & Robt. M. Newman to talk to Sister Nancy Cate & Sally Bishop & cite them to attend Church meeting - 3rd. - Appoints Br. Charles Cate & wife to talk to Sister Hederick & cite her to attend Church meeting - 4th. - Polly Campbell came forward & says that she wishes to become under the care of this Church till she could get a letter from the Church she belongs to. Augusth 10th 1822 - The Church met & proceeded to business - 1st. - Br. Isaac Newman Jr. Attend and made satisfactory acknowledgements (p.83) - 2nd. - Sister Nancy Cate also attends & made acknowledgements sufficient &c. Sr. Bishop not Being cited and has failed to attend & her matter laid over till next meeting - 3rd. - Sr. Hederick attend and made her acknowledgments - 4th. - Appoints Brs. Isaac Newman Sen. & Chas. Cate to attend the Association next to be held at Luminary Meeting house. September 14th 1822 - The Church met & proceeded to business - 1st. - Br. Chas. Kelly Reports that Sister Sally Bishop is not abel to attend meeting - 2nd. - Mary Cate requests a letter of dismission & granted. October 12th 1822 - The Church met & Elder Duke Kimbrough failed to attend & no business advanced & Dismissed. November 9th 1822 - The Church met & no business advanced & dismissed. December 14th 1822 - The Church met & after Divine Service no business done. January 11th 1823 - The Church met & after Divine Service no business done. February 8th 1823 - The failed to attend &c. May 8th 1823 - The Church met & after worship proceeded to business - 1st. - Br. Chas. Cate and wife & Lucy Lawrence Requests Letters of dismission & granted. April 11th 1823 - The Church met - no business advanced & dismissed. May 10th 1823 - The Church met & after divine Service proceeded to appoint Bro. Isaac Newman Sr. and John Elder (p.84) To attend the Union Meeting next to be held at Little Flat Creek. June 14th 1823 - The Church met & after divine Service proceeded
to Business - 1st. - the Church appoints Brn. Chas. Kelly & Jos.
Sullins to cite Sister Sally Bishop to attend our next meeting in Course. August 9th 1823 - The Church met & after divine Worship proceeded to Business - 1st. - appoints John Cate & Thos. Jones to attend and bear our letter to the Association next to be held in Knox County Spore's Meeting house on the 1st. Saturday in Oct. Next - 2nd. - A motion made for to change this meeting term from the 2nd. Saturday to the first and the Church agrees for Br. Kimbrough to determine. September 13th 1823 - The Church met and Br. Kimbrough failed to attend and after Worship By Brs. Kelly & proceeds to continue the deference from last meeting to our next meeting concerning chainging our meeting term on the account of Br. Kimbrough's absence - 2nd. - The Church letter to the Association red & approved. October 10th 1823 - Was appointed for Sacrament and fell through on the account of Br. Kimbrough not being able to attend. November 1st. Day 1823 - was first time appointed for our meeting to continue (p.85) on the first Saturday Monthly and the Church failed to meet. December 6th 1823 - The Church met & after Service proceeded to business - no business, advanced & dismissed. January 3rd 1824 - The Church met it being meeting in Course - no business taken up. February 7th 1824 - The Church met, business done and dismissed. March 5th 1824 - The Church met and nothing done and dismissed. April 3rd 1824 - The Church met and no business advanced. May 1st 1824 - The Church met & no business & dismissed. June 5th 1824 - The Church met & no business & dismissed. July 3rd 1824 - The Church met - nothing done and dismissed. August 7th 1824 - The Church met & proceeded to business - 1st. - Appointed Bro. Humphrey Mount & Joseph Sullins to attend the Association next to be held at Stock Creek Meeting house on the first Saturday in Oct. 1824 - in the County of Knox. September 3rd 1824 - The Church met & after worship proceeded to business - 1st. - Appointed Brs. Charles Kelly and Joshua Newman to cite Sister Lily Manard and Sally Bishop to attend Church meeting. October, 1824 - meeting omitted on the account of the Association. (p.86) November 5th 1824 - The Church met & after Worship proceeded to business - 1st. - took up the deference of last meeting concerning Sr. Manard & Br. John Cate and wife & after a considerable investigation of the matter both parties being present & the aligation of both parties taken and it appears that the matter is droped - 2nd. - Rec'd Noah Cate by Experience.
