January 13th 1810 - The Church met after divine Service and proceeded to business and all being in fellowship adjourned till next meeting. March 10th 1810 - The Church met after divine Service proceeded to Business. 1st Granted by request a letter of dismission to Sister Anna Carmon. April the 10th 1810 - the Church met it Being meeting in Corse. 1 - the Minutes of the Association Red & approved. May the 12th 1810 - the Church met it being meeting In Corse. 1st. The Church informed of a matter between Br. John Cate and Jacob Elder and whereas Br. Jacob stands security to Br. John for his Uncle and agreed that Br. John shall have Recourse in Law By Br. Jacob's concent - 2 - Br. Humphrey Mount & Brother John Cate Jr. Appointed to attend the Union Meeting at this place in June our next meeting in Course. June 8th 1810 - the Church met it Being Meeting in Corse - 1st. Rec'd Sister Nancy Elder by Experience. (p.38) July the 14th 1810 - the Church met it Being meeting in course. August the 11th 1810 - the Church met it Being Meeting in Course. - 1 - deligates chosen to our next Association & their names taken Viz - Br. John Cate & Br. Thomas Jones -2nd- Bro. John Cate Jr. Appointed to Right the letter to our next Association. September the 8th 1810 - the Church met it being meeting in Course -1st- Br. John Cate Sr. By his request freed from attending our next Association & Br. John Cate appointed in his Room - 2 - Received Sister Rebecah Stevenson By Experience - N.B. Br. Lockhert chosen Moderator Before we proceed to Bisness. October the 13th 1810 - the Church met it Being meeting in Course -1- Recieved Sister Sally Cate by Experinence & ordered that Shadrick Prewet should have a letter of dismission and Jacob Elder and wife granted Letters of dismission. November the 10th 1810 - the Church did No Biziness on Saturday But upon (p.39) Sunday at the Request of Br. Laurance Letters of dismission granted for him and his wife, Lucy. December the 8th 1810 - the Church met it being meeting in Course -1- Chosen Br. Lockhert Moderator. January the 12th 1811 - the Church met it being meeting in Course -1- Br. John Cate & Br. Kelly chosen delligates to site Br. Dick to attend our next Church meeting in Course and to Labour for Satisfaction & to make their report to our next meeting in Course. February the 9th 1811 - the Church met Being meeting in Course - 1st. The matter concerning Br. Dick Laid over the next meeting in Course - 2nd. The minutes of the Association Red & approved with this Reserve whey our Association our Association Clark Has more of Late then formerly for his Services as Clark. March the 9th 1811 - the Church met it Being meeting in Cours. 1st- the matter concerning Br. Dick concidered and Laid over till next Meeting in Course. -2nd. and Br. Isaac Newman & Br. Sullins deligates to Site Br. Dick again to attend our next Church meeting and to make report to the Church. (p.40) 3rd- Br. Kimbrough & Br. John Cate delligates to Site Br. Wm. Cate to attend our next meeting and to give his Reason for Neglecting to atending Church meeting. Aprile the 13th 1811 - the Church met it Being meeting in Course - 1st. Dick excommunicated from our fellowship for purfain swaring and for Brakeing the Sabbath & for neglecting to hear the Church -2- the matter concerning Br. Wm. Cate Laid over till meeting in Course and Br. Sullins & Br. Humphrey Mount apointed to & we firther Labour with Br. Wm. Cate & make their Report to the next meeting in Course. May the 11th 1811 - the Church met it Being meeting in Course - 1 - Br. John Cate Senr. & Br. Humphrey Mount & John Cate Jr. appointed Deligates to the Union meeting in his destrick and John Cate Jr. to Rite the letter to the Union - 2 - the Refference concerning Br. Wm. Cate concidered and he is excommunicated from our Felloship for neglecting to hear the Church. (p.41) June 8th 1811 - the Church did not meet. July the 13th 1811 - the Church met it Being meeting in Course and 1st. Proceeded to Business Sister Ann Carmon Returned her letter of Dismission the She Received of the Church. August the 10th 1811 - the Church met it Being meeting in Course -1- Br. John Cate Seenyar chosen Moderator. 2nd- Br. Charles Kelly & John Cate Jr. appointed delligates to our Next Association & John Cate Jr. To write the Letter to the Association. November the 9th 1811 - the Church met It being meeting in Course. 1 - Sister Marget Grissom Request a letter & granted of Dismission. December the 14th 1811 - the Church met It Being meeting in Course - 1 - the Sister Ann Carmon Requested & granted a letter of dismission - 2 - Sister Mary Carter Requested a letter & not granted on account of a distress Priscillah Coons had against Hir. January the 11th 1812 - the Church met it Being meeting in Course - 1 - the matter concerning Sister Carter taknup & Laid over till next meeting in Course. 2nd - and on Sunday Mary Carter Requested & granted a letter of dismission. (p.42) February the 8th 1812 - The Church met it Being meeting in Course - the matter Between Sister Prisillah Coons & Sister Mary Carter taken up and laid over till next meeting in Course. March the 14th 1812 - the Church met it Being meeting in Course -1st - the matter concerning Sister Mary Carter taken up and Laid over till our next meeting - 2 - Brother Humphrey Mount and John Cate Jr. appointed Commissioners to superintend the cobering of the Meeting house. Aprile the 11th 1812 - the Church met it Being meeting in Course - 1 - the matter concerning Sister Mary Carter considered that she was Received unlegal at first. 2 - the matter considering Sister Prisillah Coons and Mary Carter taken up and on account of hir Conduct For kissing the man she is considered out of Fellowship. May the 9th 1812 - the Church met it Being meeting in Course. 1 - Br. John Cate Senr. Brought an allegation against Bro. Wm. Mount For Saying that he was trying for an unjust Thing and the most contentious man that he Ever Lived By and the question taken (p.43) and Br. Mount considered in the Rong 2 - Br. Isaac Newman Sener & Br. Joseph Sullins appointed to site Br. Wm. Mount to attend our next Church meeting - 3 - Br. John Cate Senr. & Br. Thomas Jones appointed deligates to our next Union meeting to Boyd's Creek - 4 - Br. Lockhert Requested to know Weather the Arm of this Church had full power to act in a Church Way without the help of Br. Kimbrough or not answered tha have. July the 11th 1812 - Church met it Being meeting in Course & 1st. a referance taken up from the May meeting concerning a difference Between Br. John Cate Sr. & Br. Wm. Mount - the Church agreed that Br. Mount's acknowledgement was sufficient on the hard Expressions maid against Br. Cate in the Reference. 2nd - a dore was opened to hear Experance - Charles Kelley came forward and was received also Elon Mount came forward and was rec'd also Robin Newman came forward and was Received. August the 8th 1812 - the Church met it Being meeting in Course - 1st. a dore was opened to receive Experience - 2nd. Rec'd Br. Wm. Weaver By Experience - 3 - Rec'd Elisha Cate By Experiance. (p.44) - 4 - Rec'd Winnie Carter by Experance - 5 - Rec'd Ann Campbell by Experance - 6 - Salla Cate Rec'd by Experance and on Sunday Wilcockson's (Dick) was restored to Felloship again on his acknowledgement. September the 12th 1812 - the Church Met it Being meeting in Course. 1st - Appointed our meeting in Nov. our communion Season. - 2 - Chose our delligates to our next Association. Br. Charles Kelly & Joseph Sullins & Br. Thomas Jones - 3rd. Br. Samuel Miller Rec'd by Experiance - 4 - Rec'd Sister Salla Miller by Experiance - 5 - Prisillah Tharp motioned to the Church To Be Restored and Laid over till next meeting. October 1812 - Meeting it Being the time of our Association fell through. November the 13th day 1812 - Church met it being meeting in Course. 1 - Prisillah Tharp not attending Laid over till next meeting. 2 - Sister Izbell Robertson Returned the Letter that the Church gave her dated December 15th, 1811 (p.45) Sister Nancy Jones Received by Experiance. Brother Isaac Newman appointed By the Church to attend at Nall's meeting house as one of the Committee in place of Joseph Sullins - 5 - Br. Charles Kelly Jr. authorized to Exercise a publick gift in the Bounds of the Church. 6 - Breathren Charles Kelly & Joshua Newman appointed to Cite Br. John Hickman to attend Church meeting and make report next meeting - 7th - Rec'd Sister Letty Cate by Experiance. December 1812 & January 1813 - the Meetings in Course was disappointed on the coldness of the weather. |
