Registered July 23, 1852

Received of James Maget Five hundred and fifty dollars in full of a Negro Girl named Sarah aged Eleven years old sound sensible and a slave for life.  I also Warrant the title of said girl against the claims of any or all persons whatever this 23d day of July 1852.

Mitchell the Bargainor with whom I am personally acquainted and acknowledged that he Executed the within Bill of Sale for the purposes therein contained.  Witness my hand at office in Dandridge this 23 day of July 1852.
