Bill of Sale Mitchells & Branner by B. Mitchell Received of James Maget Five hundred and fifty dollars
in full of a Negro Girl named Sarah aged Eleven years old sound sensible
and a slave for life. I also Warrant the title of said girl against
the claims of any or all persons whatever this 23d day of July 1852. Witness State of Tennessee Personally appeared before me James M. Nicholson Clerk of the County Court of Jefferson Mitchells & Branner by B. Mitchell the Bargainor with whom I am personally acquainted and acknowledged that he Executed the within Bill of Sale for the purposes therein contained. Witness my hand at office in Dandridge this 23 day of July 1852. July 23d 1852 at 10 Oclock A. M. James M. Nicholson Clerk |
